Synopsis
Amid the late ’80s pop craze and rising HIV epidemic, 12-year-old Boaz uncovers a devastating secret about the father he idolizes that threatens to tear his family apart. Across a yearslong journey, Boaz seeks to heal the wound and reclaim the father-son bond he never stopped yearning for.
Director's Biography
Moshe Rosenthal is an Israeli filmmaker who writes, directs, and creates feature films, television, and web series. Moshe’s second feature, Tell Me Everything, an Israeli-French co-production produced by Green Productions & Paradise City Films, was selected for the World Cinema Competition at Sundance 2026. His debut film Karaoke premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, won the Best Debut Film Award and Audience Award at the Jerusalem Film Festival, and was nominated for 14 Israeli Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. Karaoke has participated in more than 70 festivals around the world and won Best Director and Best Screenplay awards at the Raindance Film Festival in London, and has been acquired for a remake in the US, Germany, and France. His web series Confess was sold for a US TV adaptation by AMC network, and was developed by Academy Award nominee Julie Delpy.
