Synopsis
A lonely apartment block occupied by solitary tenants. A woman lingering by her window; a man feeding some nocturnal cats; a married couple fighting endlessly; a little boy who has seen too much and a war that threatens their entire existence. Tonight their doors will open.
Director's Biography
Olga Sitovotski was born in Belarus and immigrated to Israel in 1990 with her family. She completed her BA in Cinema and TV from Tel Aviv University and studied directing and acting in Amir Orian's "Room Theatre" workshop.
In 2008 her graduation film Mexico ( 32 min) participated in several Israeli and International film festivals including: Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival, Edinburgh Film Festival, and Henri Langlois Film Festival. The script Listener's Choice got a writing grant from the Rabinovich foundation. Currently Olga is working on her first feature film for which she received a writing grant.
