Ellie (40), a single mom stuck in a dead-end job, spends her days binge-watching TV with her son Itamar (12). When his teacher reveals that Itamar aspires to do "absolutely nothing" like his mom, Ellie realizes she needs to change. To appear "normal", she reluctantly joins a struggling catchball team in Jaffa. Between eye rolls, clashing with her ex-boyfriend (who's also the coach), and epic displays of disdain, something unexpected happens: Ellie finds genuine connection for the first time. The team transforms from carb-craving women fumbling catches into an actual (albeit pretty bad) squad. Amidst squeaking shoes, locker room banter, and occasional trysts in the equipment room, these women share a common thread: yearning to break free and kickstart better lives. They'll step on each other's toes, navigate touchy subjects, and break things - but above all, they'll rediscover the ability to feel.
